Your period cycle has a major influence on your skin. And fluctuations in hormones (mainly estrogen and progesterone) that regulate your period cycle, can cause increased oil (sebum) production in the pores, skin inflammation, & production of acne-causing bacteria. This is Hormonal Acne.
